This is a post about Bollywood histories past and present. It will explain Bollywood hierarchy and connections betweent he various Bollywood families.
Bollywood is a very inter connected industry where the baton is passed from generation to generation. There are a lot of inter marriages between great families and friendships made and broken. Hidden politics and agendas too abound. Very few outsiders get to be a part of this select group. Though in recent times, there are a lot of actors who are "outsiders" making it big in bollywood.

Why am i writing this blog?
I have been a bollywood buff since i was in my early teens. I used to devour film magazines that my mom had around the house and read them cover to cover. Even today with two kids i still am a big bollywood fan. So i thought i would write a blog which is clean and informative without being sensational or gossipy.
